The work to date has primarily been carried out by a dedicated small team of local residents who have been involved in both drafting the policies and ensuring they reflect what resident want. Currently the process is being managed by the Parish Council, however we really need resident involvement’. We know our residents have jobs and/or busy lives, but with the support and assistance of the Parish Council, our community can do what it needs to ensure we maximise what future development can do for the area, and how this can benefit the lives of the parish’s residents.
There are many ways you can get involved with Neighbourhood Planning. You may just want to be kept informed of any progress. You may be able to help with spreading the word by delivering leaflets. You may want to help organise local community events? You may want to look at the history of our area, and research how this should influence the shape of our future.
